Melissa Joyner With 20 years experience and 2 successful businesses to my credit there is not much that relates to the internet technology sector that I have not done.

I started my first internet business back in 1994, the year my only child went off to kindergarten. I essentially went from being a stay-at-home mom to an entrepreneur overnight. I was looking for something that would allow me the flexibility to work from home and still attend all of my daughter’s school events. After trying for weeks to get online with the only ISP in town I decided to forget it and start my own ISP business. Not an easy task considering there were no classes, degrees, how-to books or anyone who had even heard of the internet. I had to learn everything from the ground up through sheer determination and perseverance.

Over the past 20 years I have managed teams of developers, managed servers that hosted 100's of sites, created impressive marketing campaigns that have netted my clients 1000's of dollars, designed cutting edge applications before anyone else had even thought of them, and have maintained strong relationships with all of my clients.

I have always stayed on what I have come to understand as the bleeding-edge of technology; pushing technology to the limit and most of the time having to wait for the technology and the consumer to catch up. I am not afraid of new challenges and have yet to encounter a new technology or concept I was not able to learn and master in a short period of time.

I have always been an analytical thinker, excelling in problem solving, mathematics, and accounting. However, over the years I have had to wake up the other side of my brain, the creative side, and have learned I have a good eye for design even if that side of my brain is not the dominate side.
